Pro-Tina doing major burn out.
Ford MkII Cortina with 460cu.in BIG Block motor. Pushing out some 550bhp. This is some awesome motor car.

PERFORMANCE - The car was put on a 400B.H.P. rolling road with the axle chained down, then the load was put on to measure the cars power output, the rolling road went up to it's maximum and the old Tina just span her wheels on the rollers. They estimated the Tina's output at 550 B.H.P. she don't take no prisoners!!!

Pure artwork - no other word do describe than AWESOME!!!
BODY - The front wings & bonnet (all steel) have been extended by 5inches with hole cut in bonnet to accommodate the hilborn inlet scoop. Shaved filler cap. Electric boot release. Removed inner front wings & tunnel built for air ram to radiator. Flip front, still with opening bonnet, which can be removed by taking out 2 pins for access to work on engine. Rear arches have had lips removed and tubbed out to take 29 inch wheels. Trans tunnel enlarged to take the larger C6 trans.
PAINT - Vauxhall Bordeaux pearl, sprayed by Chris Robertson.
One evil motor.
ENGINE Specification - Big block ford 460c.i.(7,600) or 950cc per pot and there's 8 of 'em. Built by Stateside Autoparts. It's running 11:1 compression ratio. TRW forged pistons. Competion Cam's - camshaft :- 0.581 inch lift & 305 degrees duration (full race). The heads are 429 Cobra Jet mustang items, ported & polished. Carb is a Holley 850c.f.m. double pumper, running through a Weiland Stealth inlet manifold. The exhausts are all light weight stainless steel - 2inch primary headers and 3inch main pipes & 6 inch silencers all home made by a chap called Colin Freeman , who did most of the engineering work on the car- a very clever bloke. All the pulleys are billet aluminium and are machined to run exactly inline with each other. Crank pulley is a Summit Racing item. Radiator is from a Lincoln Continental with light weight engine fan & 2 electric fans to try and keep it cool. Mallory dual point distributor, Aacell high output yellow coil and 8mm ignition leads.

TRANSMISSION - Ford C6 built by Dave Pollen, with full manual valve body, super holeshot 3,500 r.p.m. stall converter. B&M Mega shifter r/h version.
AXLES & SUSPENSION - Rear axle - 9 inch Ford Locker narrowed to suit & converted to take Granada discs & Lancia callipers, Axle ratio---3.25 :1. Home made Watts linkage axle locator. Leda coil over shocks - adjustable for height & damping. Front axle - Home made & powder coated A-arms with Princess ball joints. Mk3 cortina stub axles & 2.8inj Capri vented discs & callipers. Vauxhall Magnum steering rack. Escort column. Avo coil over shocks - adjustable for height and damping with 600 pound springs.

all Centreline autodrags.
INTERIOR - Bucket front seats only , covered in light grey draylon tuck & roll, as are door panels. Full eleven point roll cage, in 2inch tube. 4 - point Luke harnesses on both seats. Grey carpet. Jag speedo, ally dash filled with autometer & Mallory gauges. 7" Mallory tach with rev limiter & proshift light.
