The Start.....after visiting many car websites around the world I was amazed the effort people
put in to display their cars whether it be their favourite, dream or other people's cars on the web.
As a car nut myself I thought it would be great to offer my contribution where I hope you will enjoy
the site building up with my project cars, your cars from all over the World, articles of interest
and any other topics I feel would be appropriate.

Website starts to get a re-design, the third one since launched in 2000.
February 2008
1600GT - When time permits the engine is slowly going back together.
1600GT - Spring seats machined by Hargreave Engineering to make sure correct installed height is obtained.
March 2008
Website - Slow progress with site. It has been decided to launch the new design mismatched with the
old site. As time permits all the pages will get re-vamped.
1600GT - Valve, springs etc. get installed into the head. TDC determined using dial gauge and head installed.

Here we have the rear panel bonded on with wire mesh bridging the gap between the two panels. The gap was then treated to some
3 layers of course fibre glass matting and 1 layer of fine matting.

Rear panel coated with filler and sanded down. Notice on the left hand side the old outlet pipe exit has had a piece
of the rear panel fibre glassed back on. Panel now ready for some primer.

New pistons, rings and performance shells assembled ready to be installed into block with some new ARP bolts.

New pistons fitted into block like a treat. ARP bolts torqued as per manufacturers recommendations. You can just see the Kent 244 camshaft in the
picture. Plenty of cam lube used.
