Roll Cage complete

Took a day off on the 2nd March, hooked up the hire trailer at CLS Trailers and headed to Huxley Motorsport to pick up my v8cortina. Car strapped up ready for the journey home.

v8cortina arrives at Huxley Motorsport

My v8cortina was transported 160+ miles to Huxley Motorsport today in order for the custom made 8 point rollcage. Looking forward to seeing the fabrication as the rollcage progresses. Coming soon on Huxley Motorsport.

Update: 27/02/2012 - Work is now progressing, collection day now set for the 2nd March.

Engine bay in primer.

Engine bay and some parts get a couple of coats of primer layed on with a 2mm tip for some thickness. Some black spray added as guide coat before the primer dried off. Check page here.

New half shafts fitted

New heavy duty 2.5" custom made half shafts fitted to the V8 Cortina today. The car is now rolling ready to be taken to Huxley Motorsport to gets its roll cage fitted.
